Today Is Just One Of THOSE Days...

Today started for me at 6:00. Woke up, got dressed (in exactly the same thing I had on yesterday (cept for underoos... those were new) Besides, nobody's gonna fuckin' notice...), ate breakfast, packed all of my stuff and hit the road. Once I got on campus I had to make a detour to the union lab to print off the resources "that I printed off and have been using since last week" (wink-wink, nudge-nudge). That took WAY too long... I can't really explain why. The programs I was using (Photoshop and Word) kept getting errors and closing, and for some reason the resizing on Word was acting TOTALLY FUCKING GAY! So I finally got those printed off and went to class. Class was really boring, all we did were portraits of someone else in class (while they were doing a portrait of you mind you). So there was constant moving. However mine turned out pretty good, with at least one person telling me it "kicked ass". So... Yay. I also found out about a gallery that intro art students have to participate in (but I'm not an art major so fuck all of you, I don't have to do it!!!). This came as great news to me that I don't have to put forth extra time/work/moneys towards putting a few crappy pieces in some N00B show... Plus, even better news, our public art piece got pushed back even further! It's now due next week Tuesday! Sweet! It was originally supposed to be due today! So my morning started off pretty well...

Next up was art history. So I had to pick up a folder of assignments I turned in before Spring Break, and then run outside and across campus. But it was rainy... and cold... and shitty. So I got to Art History just as it was starting. I stayed awake in that class because I brought a Rockstar with me. The reason why that kept me awake so well was because it was a Roasted Latte Rockstar... and I'm not a fan of coffe (I only had it because I got it for free from work, and I wanted the can for my enrgy drink can collection). So ever sip gave me gave me an unpleasant coffee bean flavor in my mouth. You know, if it wasn't for the annoying after taste of the coffe bean, it would have been okay. It was a thick and creamy (no jokes, please) vanilla flavor with almost vague hints of chocolate, but that bean taste... not for me... So that class ended (fuck! I've got another test coming up!). Then came my lunch break. I walked to the math building (It was still rainy) to wait for my next class. I ate, tried getting on a computer to check e-mails ect., but there was nothing of it, almost all the computers were dead. So I tried reading for a bit, but then I started thinking that I may or may not have a test today in math, so I studied up until then. Fortunately, we didn't have a test (it's on Thursday), and we reviewed for it. Class ran a few minutes late, so even though I rushed, I couldn't catch the early bus. So I waited for the next... and waited... and waited... and waited... I was there for well over half an hour. This just had to happen to me the day it's raining, fucking cold and windy, and I had work... And the bus (when it finally did come) was PACKED! So I ended up sharing a seat with my art portfolio... Blah. Then, as I finally stepped off the bus at about 3:50 (note the bus drops me off right in front of work, I need to walk home, eat, then walk back to work. One way, that walk takes me about 10-15 minutes... Yeah... Thanks bus!). So, not feeling like rushing or skipping a meal just to run to work was definately not an appealing option to me. So I called in and said I'd be in at 5... fuck it... I made food (blt and some mac n' cheese) really quick, ate, then hauled my ass out again. This walk was entirely unpleasant. I mean, getting off the bus to the house was bad enough because I had my art portfolio on my shoulder, but at least I was moving with the wind. Now I was going against and my cheap ass umbrella did nothing but piss me off! The stupid piece of shit wouldn't even hold itself up, and it kept catching gusts of wind and flipping up. It pissed me off soooooooooo much... and it didn't even help! I got to work SOAKED!

Work was crazy because we were short staff. But alas, I got through the night. And now, I'm pretty hungry, and have just discovered I stayed very late to get a few extra things down. So I'm gonna go now... okay... bye.

Believe It Or Not, This Is My 100th Post!!!

6 months and 63,347 words later (yeah that's right. I copied all of my blog posts (titles included) into Word and had it do a word count... took me a little over an hour to copy it all...) I have hit the milestone 100th post!!! I've officially hit triple digits! Awesome!!!

I'm really proud of myself for getting this far... True I get really lazy/busy from time to time and just set aside blogging, and true there is little to none pertinent information in my blog, but I don't care! I've posted 100 times!!! It's crazy...

So, aside from that, news from my life. Hmmmmmmmmmmm... Let's see. First, off, I haven't blogged in a few days (which I'm sure you have ALL noticed), so I'll try to remember enough little things to throw in here. mkay... The end of last week was pretty dull. I had lots o' homework to do, and tried just locking myself away at home... This only half worked seeing as how I had work Fri., Sat., and Sun.. Becca and I are currently in debates/negotiations for hours. I've got em' she wants em'. What is a boy to do? So as of right now, we split the days we've got... but our hours pretty well stay the same (I still got my usual 17, she ended up sliding 1 extra hour past). So know she was trying to swindle my Sunday hours (the ones I work alone), and I just told her to talk to the boss man to get herself as an extra... Win-win for us... All loose from a corporate side, but we're just gonna keep that on the DL.

I finished my English homework on Saturday night, and also got one of the best e-mails EVER! My art project was now moved and due on Thursday instead of Tuesday! Thank God almighty I'm free at last! And instead of still working on it (as I had planned to do Sunday and Monday night...) I was a bum! Sunday night, I ended up walking to Half Price Books with Drew and Jake (Wait wait wait wait wait... I'm gonna need to take a side road here for just a minute)

Okay, allow me to explain. Drew. AKA: N00B...A man who was in the same graduating class as Steve, my brother Andrew, and Nate (The crazy commy I always see on the bus). However, about a year after he graduated, he and his family moved to Appleton, so he went bye-bye. This was unfortunate for the time because A. The Group was only just molding into the awesome form it is today, so we were in a less stable state (sort of), and B. because we used to crash at his house after school... So he left, and despite the occasional online greeting, we really didn't hear from him that much... We did keep up to date on the big stuff though, like when he told us he'd be moving out and renting an apartment with some friends. This specific apartment was directly above a card shop [of sorts]. They had cards, games, D & D, Swords and other weapons, all sorts of stuff for Drew to blow his rent money on (one of the few reasons he is titled 'N00B'). We visited him once up there, and the place was pretty cool... I mean, it wasn't perfect by any means, but I think that's what made it cool. So we made our jokes, had some fun, then left... A while later, we hear of some more 'big news'. Turns out Zoltan (the guy who owned the shop/was Drew's landlord/friend (His real fake name was Zenobia or something... but Zoltan is funnier)) was... and how to I put this nicely... pounding Drew's sister... I won't go into detail for that's really bogus of me to go throwing it around the internet like that (even though all who will read this already know...). Soooooooooooo Zoltan got into some legal troubles, lost the shop, had to go to a state funded place where they hold people for a certain amount of time... and... Drew moved in with yet another friend back down here almost 2 years later... It's funny how life works... Okay, and we're back in.

Where was I? Oh yeah, we all walked to Half Price. It's not TOO long a walk, all things considered, but it is a lot easier when you can talk the entire time. Anyways, we got there and I found some stuffs to buy with my 50% off coupons (I less than three Half Price Books friends club thing! If you're not already, SIGN UP! IT'S FREE!!!) I ended up getting the oldschool players guide to Tekken 3 (Tekken 3 was teh ownage back in the day! And in case you're wondering, or think I'm just fucking crazy, I DO NOT need this player's guide for the purpose it was intended for. I collect player's guides because they have awesome pictures and are nice time pieces...) and I got Superman Doomsday (The animated retelling of one of the best graphic novels of all time The Death of Superman) I ended up giving one of my coupons to Jake so he could buy some Full Metal Alchemist soundtrack. So I paid full price for my player's guide (still cheap as shit... Yay Half Price Books!!! ^.^). So we left, made a stop at Andy's to see if Jake couldn't just buy a pack of 5 bus tickets (he couldn't...) and then went to Taco Bell. We took our shit to go and all walked back to my place, They waited for the bus, I went in, yay.

Now, on to today! Woke up, got everything ready, left caught the bus, had an apple, went to class. Archy Theory today was all about wood (no joke!). Then I left and went home. I was happy because that would be my only class for the day. So I dropped off my paper in my TA's mailbox than hit up the 49U and went back home. While at home I watched Superman Doomsday with Andrew. It was okay (I liked that they kept violence and language in and just went for the PG-13 rating... It kept more of the serious mood that way). However, I REALLY wish they would have made it like twice its length, and added more emphasis on the DEATH of Superman. The movie itself covered both the death and rebirth of the man of steel (Jesus allusions anyone?). But the death was just a blip, and nothing more. The novel itself actually felt like it was dragging on too long because the final fight was massive, spanning entire states and multiple superheroes (all of whom were absent from the movie). All-in-all, it was fun to see and a nice little thing to have, but it had it's fair share of let downs. After that, we had to help our mom paint the kitchen ceiling (RANDOM AS FUCK!!!). Then I had a dentists appointment... Blah! At least it got me out of English. Apparently I ACTUALLY need to floss, go fucking figure. Once that was over, I went and took a nap in the car while my mom had her appointment. Then we made a few quick errands before heading home. One of said errands took us to CVS where I ran into Lizzy (Hi!), and another took us to the library. I chatted wit Steve for a few minutes before renting a few more cds and leaving. They only had one cd I reserved, so I've got to go back in a few days to pick up the other. Today I got Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell by Social Distortion and Death Magnet by Metallica. My mom saw that I had a Metallica cd and was all like "Waaaah, Metallica?!?!? That's heavy metal, why are you listening to that!?!??! Waaaaaah!"... I then had to explain to here that no, no Metallica is not all that heavy (comparatively speaking), and I've never really listened to them, but I feel as though I have to after getting all of Apocolyptica's cds. But anywho, got home, helped make foods, then quick caught Heroes. It was a pretty cool episode (I thought). Andrew didn't like it because it 'focused too much on the Petrelli family', but let's be honest, their dialogue and family drama almost drive that show itself! If you really think about it, that family is the heart of it all (if any). And yeah, that was about all of my day. Now I'm chatting with Emily at how we wish we would have known sooner that The Faint and Ladytron were coming to town. Tickets are only $20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it's on Wed. night!!! Blargety blargety blarg!!!

Well, yep, that's the shit goin down in my town... I hope you enjoyed my momentous 100th post! Sleep tight party people!

A New Level Of Fail...

Wow... I forgot my art portfolio at home... I have art today... WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! So, needless to say I'm skipping my art class (which starts in 15 minutes) and spending the next 3 free hours working on my English paper... Wow... Fuck my life! If I wasn't going to class today, why did I wake up at 6 and truck my ass down here? Why God, why???

Random Shit...

So, today started off like any other, wake up far too early, hop on a bus which I'll sleep on, go to a place I can't stand, not say a single damn word, go to a boring class, take a nap, then go home...

Yeah, I know, all shit you've already heard before. Some stuff you haven't heard from me though is 1. I discovered last night that there will be a staff dodgeball league being set up... Still not sure if I really want to do it though...

2. I just realized last night that I've got a dentist appointment next Mon., which basically eqautes to: I can't go to my English class so I've got to finish my paper early and get 3 copies to her before 2-ish... Hooray... I'm doing this all so someone can poke and prod the inside of my mouth, bitch at me for not flossing, and then re-schedule me for a later date so they can fill up all of my cavaties (fuck you teeth! What? Brushing twice a day + anticavity rinse not doin' it for you???).

3. My final big public art piece is due next week as well (Tues) MAI BUCKET!!!

4. My weekend is gonna fucking suck!!! (see: #2 & 3)

5. Awesom lunch today! A B.O.S.S. (Big Oversized Sub Sandwich... and yes, that is VERY repitive) and a Kool-aid burst (if you don't remember those from your childhood, you don't deserve to breathe the same air as the rest of humanity...)

6. It's sad that I'm really racking my brain to fill in some more numbers here...

K, I guess I'll just stop there because I've got to get typing on that essay of mine... Bye...

It's Coming Down

So, here I am in the very last stretch of my Spring Break Vacation... I need another week... Okay, let's recap.
Wed.- Woke up, hoped a bus downtown (an hour later than I wanted to), drew a few buildings on Marquette's campus for an architecture class (God, I really hate Marquette... The people there are such assholes...). Then I hit up the Rave to buy my Shiny Toy Guns/ All-American REjects ticket (April 11 baby!!!). Then I treated myself to a lunch at Cousins (philly cheese-steak! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!). Then I continued walking until I got back to the 12's stop (all in all I probablt walked a god 20-30 blocks) I called Emily who was going to meet me down at the art museum. She cancelled... ohhhhhhhh, I'm so saaaaaaad. Maybe some other time? (<--------Insert sarcasm here). That sounds mean... but whatever... So I went to the art museum to finish my art history assignment... alone. I never thought it would be so, but going to the art museum by myself was one of the most lonely experiences I've ever had... Why do so many couples chill at the art museum? Either way, it made me feel excluded. So I finished that up, did a few more drawings, then jumped on a 12 (from the bus depot, which is like the coolest building eva'!!!). So I finally pulled back into BD (that bus smelled bad...). I ate, did some more putzing on the computer then left for Ben's (there was an all day gaming party going on). Apperantly we weren't supposed to be at Ben's cause his mom was out of town, but whatever... So then when Kiwi got off work, we all relocated to his house. We played a few matches of Cut Throat which is basically like a card based roleplaying game. It was pretty fun, but like all of Ben's board games... very long and kinda repetative. I zoned out for over half of the last game and started watching South Park, somehow ironically I won that match with like 16 points (compared to my -7 points the match before...). So then we all left.

Thurs.- Ummmm... Let's see. Thursday was another sit around the house day. It took me like the whole day to watch Transformers (which I still had like 5 minutes by the end of the evening). Then, alas, I had to go to my meeting at work... dredded because I knew they were gonna swing the axe that night right then and there... But they gave us taco salad!!! So the meeting was almost 2 and half hours long, they told us about all of the changes ect. ect., we ate, shared some laughs... and then left... Nobody got fired!!! W00T!!! So then I went home and spent some more time onlines. I got a call from Holly and oddly enough talked with her for about 20 minutes. We said we'd get together Friday, and I quick tried to get off the phone (I didn't feel much like talking at that moment). So then Jacob calls, and I tlak with him for like 20 minutes and even less stuff gets accomplished in this phone call... Wow... people just like wasting my minutes... Jerks!!!

Fri.- Friday was fun. Started off my day milling about teh house. Then we got the crew together and saw I Love You, Man. It was good, not as good as other movies like it, but it was a nice buddy movie. Plus we were the only ones there soooo... We generally threw stuff at one another and added commentary. That was fun, and after that we all seperated (which was cool because then I didn't look like I was ditching people. I got home, ate, and then got ready to leave again. I jumped in Pat's 'new' car anmd we left to Noodles where we met up Karleisa, Kaitlyn, Maddie, and Amanda. So they all gots food and we talked about random shit. Then it was revealed to me that Borders (bookstore not 30 feet from us), was havign a Twilight movie release party... Oh man some bitches gonna die! So we went over there, made fun of Twilight (and hurt Maddie's and potentially Holly's feelings)... We also filmed yours truly showing off some mad puppetry skill. I'm-a boss... Then we finally left only to move another 30 or so feet to McDonalds. We wasted a lot more time there before finally saying, let's get the fuck out and go do something... So we relocated to Holly's, where in the process lost Maddie and Kaitlyn. Maddie then proceeded to text all of us individually about how she felt excluded blah blah blah, she needed calm the fuck down... So basically, we talked while Pat played Castle Crashers some run of the mill sidescroller off of Xbox Market Place's download thingy. Then Holly kicked him off of that so I could play Madworld. That game is funny as Hell!!! Also really fun to play. But I did feel like a dick playing while everybody else watched. So after 2 levels of that bloody romp, I tunred it off and went home.

Oh, and I got ball back...

Monday And Today. Can The Fun Times Continue?

Hmmm. Right. So, yesterday morning, my mom woke my up bright an early (around 9... and for a student on Spring Break, that's hella early...). I ate a quick breakfast, then left for a fun filled day.

(here is where I saved this post as a draft, and where I'll be picking up only about four days later...)

My day was basically planned by my mom as a day that both she and I did not have work, and I didn't have school (W00T Spring Break!!!). This spirited day started off with a lively visit to the bank. Not just any bank mind you. My school CD (Certificate of Deposit, not compact disc... dumbass) was due and my mom looked around for a better interest rate (they suck right now... Although, that should be pretty evident, the whole economy is in the shiter). So we tracked down the best rate for the most reasonable amount of time. We landed on a 2.65 for eleven months. Cool. So we moved all of my school monies over there. Hopefully (and this is my plan), I can get through school with only the money I make from work (without creating any debt for myself), and have all of the money my mom set aside for me for after I graduate (Hello my own house!). But anyways, after we got that done (btw, that little neighborhood we were at somewhere in Wawautosa where the bank was was awesome! It gave the illusion of small town life... but wasn't! It was a nice little mixture there... plus, it was only like 2-3 blocks away from Milwaukee (thus the "bad" part of town), so I'm pretty sure the cost of living over there wouldn't be like insane rich white people land...) we went to George Web's for burgers. We left and headed on over to Mayfair Mall. That was interesting because I haven't been there in some time. I got to check out (and get free samples from) a new store that solely sells tea, and tea making equipment (teapots, cups, serving trays ect.). There I found a new fondness of looseleaf tea. It's so much cooler than those little damn bags... So anyways, after that we left and headed over to the southside of town. Why? because my mom thought we were close enough to the budget theater, and she had been over there a few days prior for a meeting, but didn't want to wait that long for the next showing. So we headed on over there. We first checked out what movies they all had. My mom wanted to go see Marley and Me, whereas I was going to see The Tale of Despereaux (I also contemplated going to see the Twilight movie just to laugh and/or mock it. However, I still saw this as a waste of money and time to go to, even at a 2$ ticket price...). We had like an hour to waste before our movies, so we crossed the street to the local Walmart. Oh my God I hate the south side of Milwaukee... It's the white peoples ghetto. Everyone there was all rednecky with three children when you could tell it would take all of their brain capacity to raise one healthy minded child... Wow. That whole store was a mess and it was just crawling with crazy white folk. I honesty contemplated walking out of there with as much stuff as possible (and I'm not even that big at stealing stuff... I just do it because I'm a teenager and it runs through my veins... shut up), but there wasn't anything there I even remotely wantede to take! I did however end up buying 2 movies: Old School (uncensored), and Dodgeball. When the woman rang up Old School, it made a really loud beep, and she asked me if I was over 18. I said yes and she proceeded to click a few buttons on the register. Then she scanned it again, it made the same beep, so she asked again (half jokingly this time), you sure you're 18, to which I said...yes. My mom even chimmed in this time, yes, he's 18. I even offered to bring out my ID. She said no, don't worry about it, I believe her (reffering to my mom). And then she said, it's just that you look 15 or something...15! 15?!?! Bitch I'm not a freshman in highschool!!! I'm gonna be 19 in less than 3 months. Fuck you bitch, I'll kill you! My mom tried crackign a joke about how in due time I'll appreciate it when people guess my age as much younger than it really is... but 15?!?!?! God damn... So we left, and headed on over to our movies. Despereaux was pretty entertaining (Kiwi, Emma Watson did voice work in it). The animations, although pretty good, definately gave off more of a fairytale feel (which I assume they were going for) than any sort of photorealism.

The movie itself seemed to take a lot of hints from Ratatouille (although, I can only imagine the amount of pressure other studios feel in the presence of Pixar). Nevertheless, it was a funa nd enjoyable film for children. Adult like themes could be pulled out of it (thoughts of discrimination and hate, corupt government powers, and pain and loss over loved ones death), however, paying too much attention to things like that will likely cause less enjoyment for you the veiwer. So anyways, the movie got out, and we started our trek home. Overall, it was pretty fun, I mean, I got a lot of stuff out of it (and believe me, it sounds lame as Hell, but when you start to become monetarily independent, free stuff from your parents is more than well recieved). My only complaint would be that it took too long... somehow all that stuff lasted like 6 or 7 hours... how? I may never know. Errands and such with my mom just takes a long time. We made a few grocery stops as we came back into town too. So, when I got back home, I ate, and hoped a bus to Kiwi's for Heroes night. The bus driver was a tard. First he was like 15 minutes late (that or the bus before him was just a dick and sped off early), when he got to the stop he was texting on his phone, didn't even look at my bus pass, then he got off the bus and started talking on his phone some more! C'mon I'm missing Heroes!!! I finally got to Kiwi's close to 20 minutes late, just to find out that Heroes was a rerun. I guess that's a good thing because then I didn't miss anything. So we all hung out for a bit, then disperced at the end of the night (It was actually pretty early cuz Kiwi had to go into to work ealry the next day (St. Pattricks day)).

I too had to work on St. Patty's day, but not until late... that and my job wouldn't change all that much... I can't really remember what I did during the day... for the most part I think I just bummed around. Anyways, I had work that night, and up until that point I was having a really nice day. And surprisingly enough... I was still having a nice day even at work. It was busy enough to keep me doing something so my shift didn't seem too long, and it wasn't busy enough for me to have to run around all over the place! However, it was really hot in the building... So I was pretty good the entire day. Another successful day... Wow. I love not being in school!!! However... things came crashing down as there was a threat made about the integrity of mine, as well as all of my coworkers jobs... which not only fueled a lot of negative feelings, but also paranoia and gossip. It doesn't feel good worrying about your job like that... So that put alittle knot in my stomache for the rest of the night... But that was that day. We've all got to move on, so I went home that night and tried not to worry about it. That's about all I can really remember about Tuesday night. Yeah, I'll make some more posts to make up for other memorable points within the past few days... Bye

It's All Been Funny. I'm Happy.

So, here's the deal. This is the first weekend, of my first college spring break ever. And I must say: It's been great. First, on Fri. I got a ride home from school from Maddie. We talked and caught each other up on life, stopped at Bayshore Mall (more like a small town) so she could eat. It's still kinda awkward to hang out with her because we're not really 'friends'... but whatever, it was a different face y'know? So then I got home, ate a little something (couldn't eat the fish though because it wasn't done in the oven before I had to leave (my only sad face this weekend). Somehow I was okay enough to get through the whole shift though. I normal don't work Fridays, and when I do, I am usually working for Becca. Tonight however I was working with Becca, which is always fun. You've heard bits and pieces from her when I leave my desk at work... Well she's tons-o-fun. She's only a few years older than I am, so sorta connect a little easier. Plus she's pretty cute... So anyways, that shift went really quick. we both even stayed a little after our shift was done to finish some things up.

Saturday was also a very nice day. I woke up pretty late (really don't remember when), milled about the house until I had work. Like most Saturdays, my shift was only 3 hours long. So basically, the shift was very short, but dragged on like a mutha' fucka'! But I got out nonetheless. After work, I was bombarded with all sorts of shit. First, my mom wanted to know where my brother was and why wasn't he at home, and did he know he as supposed to be at home to run some errands with her when she got home... HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW??? I just got off work... So I quick call Jake and see if he knows anything. He tells me that I should head outside because they'll be to my house in mere seconds. No can do. Andrew had to come inside so we could go to Kohls ect. to run a few errands. Plus we needed to pick up some sour cream at Pick n' Save. I went into Pick n' Save and let them head on over to Kohls (divide and conquer!!!). However, this probably only saved us about 10 seconds in the long run. But anyways, I met up with the rest of the fam at Kohls, and spent WAY too much time in there. I shouldn't complain too much though. My mom did get me a new hoodie (It's fuzzy), and a new winter jacket (It's all Leon Kennedy badass). So then we finally got back home and eat some pork chops (yummy!!!). Then we dried some dishes, and hoped into the van (which was being piloted by Catherine (lol). She drove us back to her house (she bitched a lot on the way over...). When we got to the Eiffler house we discovered the had a fire going and had fried up some brats for us. We also discovered that Coop, Jake, and Mandy were all there (and Steve... but it was his house soooo...). anyways, we all hung out for a bit before Catherine had to drive Mandy home. Then she got back and we forced her to drive us to Kiwi's. Then, after realizing he wasn't there, drove to T & D to find him. Jake ran in, talked with him, found out he had a shit ton of stuff to do, so ran back, told us he wouldn't get out till like 12... then we left again. We were going to still go to Borders at that point, but after the amount of complaining Catherine put up (welcome to Steve's life Cat...), we instead drove to the much closer (and probably more convenient) parking lot behind my house (I live in a condo, so it makes sense... I don't want you thinking I live on a patch of cement with a parking lot behind it...). So we all sat and chatted for a bit. We were also all really thirsty... So then we dispersed [quite early] so Catherine could drop off Coop, and Jake and still get home in time for her bed-time (Bwapapapapa!!! Bed-times... she's such a little kid. Even if she is turning 18 in less than a month). So I went inside, went on the laptop, and stayed up later than I should have.

Sunday... wow... Sunday... So basically, if you don't know, I work 8 hours every Sunday. This usually equates as: Aw fuck... I just lost my last day of freedom before the work/school week starts up again... we also get a lot of the loonies on Sundays... Don't know why. But this Sunday was different. This Sunday was... amusing! It was me (the most awesomest white boy ever), Vinnie (the big itallian guy), Becca (the cute, short black girl), Andy (the new white guy), and Corey (the big black guy). Oh man, it was funny. For hours we were all cracking jokes at each others expense. Becca was calling Vinnie Vinchenso, as Vinnie called Becca a series of cicks, hums, and rythmic dance. Then, as we accused Becca of being horribly racist, Andy revelied himself as being part German, to which Becca responded with comments on Nazis. Oh man. Becca was also called 'proper' by a bunch of black girls in a mentor program, which made Becca decide to try and act as 'ghetto' as she could to try and get her stereotype back. She wanted us to all start calling her B. It didn't really catch on, however it did make for some funny ass talks over the radios... Then later in the day (Corey, Vinnie, and Andy had left by this point), Becca was in the hall judging a race between two boys. I looked over at Theresa and asked "Is Becca condoning running in the halls?", to which Theresa responded "yep" Then about a minute later, I see Becca running down the hall to which I said "Is Becca RUNNING in the halls?" to which Theresa responded "Yep". Then Becca came over and asked if either of us wanted to race. So Becca and I raced as Theresa served as our finish line. Oh man, it was fucking fun. Plus, as an added bonus to the WHOLE day, there was a bake sale that ended at 1, and they brought us most of the stuff they didn't sell (sweet! sweets!), and then at the end of the night the people running the swim meet gave us some left over pizza (well, sort of... Nick (a lifegaurd) more or less stole it and hid some for us... Either way he hardcore moved up in my book!!!)! So I finally left for home with some left over pizza in hand, and a smile on my face. As I got home, Jacob got off of work, called me, and started the trek to my house. I went upstairs and checked the computer quick. My downloads had finished (W00T! Monster Ranchers season 1!!!), and I saw that Andrew had got an Elite toy to match that of my Master Chief. And when he got outside my door, Andrew and I talked with him till his bus came...

Long story short, I had an awesome weekend!

Last Day Before Big Bad Spring Break!

Hey, I'm not really in the mood for typing out a whole huge blog, so I'll keep this one short. Today was pretty run of the mill... I do have an Archy Drawing midterm in an hour and a half though (I really don't know how that's gonna go...). Right now however I'm watching the latest episode of Heroes that I missed due to being at work... You know what, fuck all the people who dislike 3rd season (volume 3 and 4). This shit is beastie as all Hell! Moving on. I've tried two energy drinks as of late that I haven't typed my reviews of. Both of which are new flavors from Amp. One is green tea, the other being black tea. Personally, I prefer actual green tea over black tea, but whne concerning the new amp flavors: It's black tea all the way! The green tea just tasted too acidic and not like tea (more juicey than anything else. The black tea on the other hand had much more of a tea flavor (plus about 40mg more caffine). Yeah. I'm totally happy for spring brake though! The only down side is it's only a week. Hell yeah, I'm gonna go all crazy and shit like girls gone wild except... I'm a guy... and I won't be going anywhere... Basically it's nothing like girls gone wild and I'll bwe catching up on a lot of sleep!

Make Something Of Myself

That's right! I'm leaving this trailer park and going to Hollywood. The kids will just have to understand! I'm gonna be a star!... It'll be pretty hard without my meth though...

Koo-Koo-Katchoo Mutha' Fucka!!! Aaaaadaadaadaadaadaadaa! Sorry...

So, as predicted, this week... it's not for me. It;s not my cup of tea (which I've been drinking a lot... more on that later). So basically, I felt pretty sick over the weekend. You know, one of those pussy colds that just seems really weak, but in reality it's just the calm before the storm. So on Monday when I woke up. I felt like shit... I mean, my body ached, my nose was runny and I could barely speak... So I got ready, got on the bus (which btw, it was rainy and crappy out which did not help my mood in any way). My first class of the morning was Arch Theory, which, with no excuses; I passed out in. So then I left that and headed over to the archy building to post my latest assignment (I found out today that my previous 2 assignments were 7 out of 10 points... I don't know what they want from me...). Then I caught the bus and went home. Every Monday and Wednesday, I've got a 5 hour break, and rather than sitting on campus the whole damn time, I head home for a few hours. My main objective while home was to finish my English homework before 2:30 (when I leave again). I got that all finished then brought in the mail. W00T! I got a brand new toy to play with (no homo)!!! This just goes to show how much of a loser I really am: I ordered a Halo 3 Master Chief toy online. How could I not? It was like $9.00 including shipping. Plus, he's got the sniper rifle, which I was known to punish with back in the day (you know, back when Halo mattered). So, it's pretty awesome, and it really reminded me of Arby n' The Chief (I'm also happy to say that I brought it with me to work that night! I played with it on my break). So anyways, i ate before leaving back to class. And on my way to the bus, something majical happened!... The bus fucking flew by me as I was walking to the stop... DAMMIT! Oh well, it was a blessing in disguise. Then next bus wouldn't be coming for another half an hour, and my actual ride is another half an hour, so I said I'm not spending over an hour on the bus for the last half an hour of class... So I got a few extra hours at home before work. At this point I still felt pretty sick too. Work was work, and then I got to go home. When I got home, I was hit with a lot of family issues that I by no means wanted to deal with at 11 at night. I had art to finish for God's sake... So I finished most of my art (I did 3 out of 4 pieces and just called it a night).

When I got up this morning I felt like SHIT! It was bad. And this whole jump ahead an hour is really screwing with me. Now it's dark when I get up, and all of the clocks in the house are a few minutes different. Blarg! So I ate, got dressed ect. ect., caught the bus and went back to Hell- Whoa! What wait, what? Did I say that??? (no, I really didn't... I typed it...)... Anywho, classes today were painful. I also forgot to take the art pieces I had stayed up for last night, so they will be counted as late on Thursday. I could not stay awake in any of my classes (I blame my cold). However somewhere around 3 while I was headed home, I started to feel better. By the time my shift started (4:30), I felt pretty good. My cold is all but gone... or at least i feel less of it. Thanks to all the folks at Sudafed!!! Ugh. I got one more day this week where I have to rush, everything else should be fine. I'm not even gonna complain about working an a Friday because Fridays are slow as Hell. Okay, well I'm gonna go now.

(P.S. Official scripts have been completed on some... projects of mine. This one will take over you internets. Trust me... Why So Silly? Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Ugh! It's Snowing Again!!!

That's right folks. After two straight days of dreary rain, we now have more snow! Gotta love Wisconsin. Probably the most amusing part of it all would be when my manager (Theresa), yelled out, "Why do we live here???". Yeah. I personally like the snow... in winter... I can't take anymore snow and cold weather. It's too late in the season! I've got filming projects I need done! (Stay tuned for those!) So yeah, the weather has got me pretty bummed out. Also, the knowledge of having work tonight, tomorrow, Tuesday (off Wed. and Thurs. (Thank God)) and Friday, has already told me that I will be dead by next weekend.

For now though, I'm still moving. Plans for Friday night got fucked up (which angered me greatly), and then yesterday was almost solely devoted to homework (Which btw, I still haven't finished). I've still got art and a little bit of English to do. I did however listen to like 4 new [to me] cds last night.
1. "All Hope is Gone"- Slipknot
2. "Like Blood Like Honey"- Holly Brook
3. "When the World Comes Down"- All American Rejects
4. "The Airborne Toxic Event"- The Airborne Toxic Event
5. "Platypus"- The Flobots
All were good, just in very, very different ways. "All Hope is Gone" was exactly what I needed it to be. Slipknot delivered a perfect sequel to Vol. 3. No more of their mindless raging metal with no heart. Although this album was clearly 'harder' than their last, they could still slow it down with melodic anthems such as "Snuff" (one of my now favorite songs ever made ever...). I also was pleasantly surprised when I sound techno-like sounds peeking up here and there. "Like Blood Like Honey" is Holly Brook's first studio album and displays high skill for a freshman release. For those of you who don't know who the Hell this is, she was the one singing back-up vocals in Fort Minor's "Where'd you go". Although, she herself brings no new genre to the forefront, but she employs enough craft in what she does do to give off a strong sound. Plus. it probably doesn't hurt that she's a pianist and I have a sexual/love attraction to pianos. Oh, and she's hot. Soooooooo, check that out and support the 'unknowns'. Next we've got All-American's newest. Now, I've never listened to their first cd, so I've really got nothing to compare it to (except for their WAY overplayed singles from their previous cd). You know, i liked it more than I thought i would. They mixed a lot of different sounds in various ways through out. However, they still seemed to stay in their comfort zone, and never stretched TOO far out the box. I also must saw their vocalist bothers me after extended listening... but I was fine for one straight run through. Next up on my list is a new band The Airborne Toxic event and their self-titled. They're a pretty fun band (especially when you watch their videos and their riding in things like boats and vans singing). They send off a very slow alternative sound reminiscent of bands such as Snow Patrol. Although they never push the overall feel of their music too much, they do experiment with a lot of different instruments. I also find the band themselves pretty funny: 1 smaller clearly indie singer, one 'individual' looking chick, and Asian guy, and a guy with ballin' facial hair, and another guy... lol. And for the last (but not least) cd on my little list here: "Platypus" by The Flobots. It's their first release before the well known "Fight With Tools". There's not that many tracks (only 7 I believe), but it's the Flobots... C'mon...C'mon.

And know I must bid you all farewell for alas, work is over, and I can truck my ass through slush and snow home. Where I will inevitably try and finish more homework.

Hey There!

Why can't we all just dance?

Anywho, the last time I blogged was on Tuesday. I'll try my best to catch you all up on what has happened my wacky world since then. Okay, Wednesday was pretty fast paced... I had to go back and forth from school and work (Well, it was my choice... but still). The thing that made my day pretty packed was the fact that I had a lot of work to get done for various approaching deadlines. I didn't have work that night though, so I was okay. Thursday wasn't exactly what I had planned... but it was fun nonetheless. My classes were dull and pretty predictable. I did try my sugar free no fear. I stayed awake just fine with it (although it's been coming easier just naturally), and it was good, but to be quite honest, all of the no fears pretty well taste the same. I did have a little rough patch around noon though. I forgot my trig. book at home, and I tried calling so Andrew could just read off the problem to me. However, he was online, and I couldn't get through. So I had to go all light speed and shit home, get my book, solve the ONE problem I needed to do, and hopped the bus back to school... Of course, I missed the first bus (at 1:11), so I had to settle for the next one (1:44)... My class started at 2... the bus ride would take me half an hour. So I knew I'd be about 10-15 minutes late. However the bus was another 5 minutes late, so I got to class a little more than 15 minutes in (it's only a 45 minute class). My TA really didn't care that I was alte, I wrote down what was on the board, comprehended it, then class was over. I handed in my quiz (the one problem I had to go back home for), then left again. The class was actually really painless when it was only a half hour long. I caught an earlier bus than normal too! It was cool, I got home at 3:15, instead of 3:45! While at home, I burned the Animal Crossing anime on to DVD (awesome!), and tried to burn the lightscribe cover on it, but it was failing. So Kiwi, Andrew, and I arranged to meet at the library. We all left (it was warm as Hell out!!!). When we got there, Kiwi was there waiting, and Steve pulled in right infront of us. We wasted some time in the library(I got 3 cds: one's a Slipknot, one's Kill Switch Engage... and the last is Moby), then we left and went on over to Half Price Books. We wasted even more time there (as we always do... that store is not an in and out type of place...). I got one book (Stardust by Neil Gaiman. I've seen the movie (which btw, it's hard-core underrated) but I've never read the book), and Kiwi got a book (the next in the Bourne series). After that we went to Target, where we yet again, wasted a lot of time talking. We ended up leaving there with 5 Amps (they was on sale for $1.50, and they had the new tea and lemonade flavors). Yeah, we're just that cool... We can spend a Thursday night (which I've been told from various sources is the new Friday), at stores looking at, and talking about books and movies FOR HOURS!!! So then we all left and went back to Kiwi's. We generally just sat around and bitched about shit for a pretty long time. Around 11, Jake calls and says he'll be there in 20 minutes (he just got off work apparently). So we decided to wait for him because the group as a whole has not hung out together for some time. So we stuck around, Jake came, and then sometime around midnight, we agreed that we should probably hit the road because SOME of us had to wake up early for school (incase my sarcasm fell against deaf ears, I'm the only one who had to wake up early for school). So we left... around 12:50... because we can never just leave some place, it's always a working progress... and then not so working... and then back in. Shit's crazy. So I got home at 1 am.

This morning I woke up at 6:30... and said fuck it, and went back to sleep. I didn't give too much of a shit. I was tired. So I got up around 7 when my mom came up and said "Oh my God, you're late! Shit's gonna die... A lot!!!", and I was all like, "It's cool bro, I've got this shit on lock. Class dun start till 9. Psh! Get off my back about it woman!". Okay, so maybe I made all of that dialogue up. But she did tell me I was late, and then she gave me pancakes! Then I went back to sleep, got up at 7:30-ish, got dressed ect., then headed out to the bus. It was the weirdest thing, but somehow me, Nate, and Beau all missed our normal 7:35 bus, and caught the 8:07 bus. FUCKIN' CRAZY!!! My first class of the morning was Arch theory, which as I hinted at before, I was able to stay awake the entire time, pay attention, and take notes with no external help. Cool! And when that class was over, I walked back to the union (Where I'm currently chillin') and finished my 'homework' for my next class (Archy drawing). Then I watched the latest Heroes (which, if you recall, I missed because of work). It was a good episode (despite the fact that Hayden was macking with some random guy PLAYING the role of a comic book loser just to appeal to all the Heroes fanboys (which as we all know, fanboys are retards)). The only real problem I had with it is this: I WANT TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, now I really want to print off said completed homework, eat, and hit up my last class of the week. Hopefully I'll be able to hang out with peoples tonight and have a laid back night because tomorrow I'll probably be Hella busy with homework (English, art, and Archy art?!?!?! Who am I? Atom Ant?!?). So, here's to me finishing yet another blog, and attaining big number 90... Yep, not much longer and I'll hit triple digits!

A Good Idea?

So, there's really nothing about my day that I really feel like typing out right now, so I'll be pretty brief. 1. My art history exam was today. I know I got all of the titles, artists and dates correct (aside from a few inevitable spelling mistakes). But the descriptions is where I think I may loose a few points. We only got a minute or two max. to finish writting down all of our answers (15 min. for the final essay) so I felt quite rushed. Oh well, I still think I did well on it. And 2. Kiwi went out to get his Shiny Toy Guns ticket at the rave today. He left a message on Facebook asking me if I wanted him to pick one up for me, but I didn't get to read that until maybe an hour after he left. Damn... plus the ticket he got cost 35 instead of 27... So I can't really say I'm pleased about it, but it was an honest mistake... But that larger ticket price still bugs me...

So anyways, on to the big question. Now please, let me know if this is a good idea: Should I start my own tricycle gang? We could rule the streets with iron handle-bars! Just a thought...

Today Was Just A Day For SuperMe!

Okay, so, this morning I woke up just fine. Which was good because my mom had off work today and I wanted to let her sleep. I was pleasantly surprised when I came down the stairs at like 6:45, that it was actually light out! Up until Now I've been waking up before the sun and watching it rise. Yippy!!! It's gettin' to be spring outside (although not really, we just got some more snow...)! Don't get me wrong, I love the snow... but it's getting to be too much now. I want it gone... So I went downstairs, ate breakfast. Mmmmmmmmmmm instant oatmeal (2 packets in 1 cup). That Quaker guy really knows his stuff! After breakfast I went back upstairs, packed my backpack, and pulled some stuff out for when I got back home. I had like 15 minutes free before I had to leave, but somehow I blew all of that by said packing... blarg, I like my morning nap! Soooooooooooo anywho, I got outside and caught the bus. At the next stop waiting were Beau and Nate. We've all sorta got into the habit of catching the same bus and hanging out in the morning (I asked Steve if he ever wanted to join... but he's too much of a pussy...). Nate got on first and rushed over to me. He quickly said before Beau got on, "pretend that he's not here, just ignore him."... so we did, for about half of the ride to school. Somewhere along the line, Nate wanted to introduce a side story and say that Beau had died in a 'tragic" accident. This would have been more convincing had I not started burst out laughing as Nate said this... Actually that probably was more convincing. Alas, Nate finally put an end to it all because he didn't want Beau to start internalizing it all. I did a quick sketch of the bus for art, and then showed Nate my sketchbook. He got pretty excited about some of the stuff in there and commented on my general nonchalant attitude towards it all. He then asked me if I worked commissions. I told him I could and he laid out his needs. He wants me to draw a small, maybe 2" x 2" drawing depicting electoral colleges and the working class. I gave him some pretty dummy ideas while thinking about more serious images in my head. He named his price (credit given as well as a cream soda...), and I agreed to his very tantalizing offer. We also had a pretty long conversation about calculous, chemistry, and trees...

So we got to school and Beau and I started reminiscing about random high school moments. We decided to let Nate in on a few, but stopped after he judged me for calling a slightly mental handicapped child deedeedee for about 2 years... Nate veered off into the library as Beau and I continued on to the union. I for one just putzed around on the computer, but Beau was doing his whole "I'm in calculous, I'm better than you!" thing... so after a little while of that, I left and went to Arch Theory. Luckily, I remembered with only 10 minutes before class started that I needed to finish a quiz online before class started! So I raced out to one of the simple-minded computers in the hall. I peddled through it as quick as I could constantly reminding myself "some points are better than none", and when I got done... wow... my score... wow... I got an 8/10, which tied my best score... So I rofled then went to class. Class was really boring and I took a nap. God it pains me that I pay thousands of dollars to run myself ragged and nap...

So anyways, calss ended and I left (somehow I naturally wake up at the end of every class just in tiem for him to say "Okay that's it, have a good day"... weird). I caught the bus and went back home. I got off at the park & ride (something I no longer do... I usually just get off at the further stop on Schroeder Blvd.). My first stop was Officemax. I bought some blank dvds as so I can start burning all of my childhood favorites onto my own makeshift season dvds. The fact that I bought lightscribe discs just added to the legitiamcy. Then I stopped into Micheals to get something for art (I got gesso, and for those of you who don't know, it's sorta like a ground you spread on a surface in order to drawing on something). I got the last one! Then I went home adn finished my English homework. I finished that, ate lunch, then headed back out.

I always feel like shit when I have to leave my house at 2:30, and not get back home till 5:45... just for one class... Damn bus! 49U why have you foresaken me! well, on the bright side, I've caught like 90% of my busses this semester, so I'm doin' pretty good. English was spent in the library where we learned how to use the libraries bullshit catalog. As soon as I got home I ate a salad, turned around and left again. This time, I was off to work. Yay! I get to miss Heroes!... blah. Work's over adn I'm not looking forward to going home. Why? because I've still got homework to do. Tomorrw morning I've got an Art History exam. Wish me luck! I need to memorize about 30 paintings title, who made the piece, as well as the date on it... Nonetheless, I think I'll do well on it. well, I'm gonna go befpre I realize how tired I should be! Tootles!

Just Shorts

So today at work, a woman I've never seen before said to me, "I love your hair". Hooray for warm fuzzy feelings!
