I don't know how I forget it every year. Somehow, whether I'm just ignoring it or not, I can never get it through my head that school will rob most of my time. I always start the year with various projects in my mind, and things I'll get done... And then school pushes all of them aside while uttering a boisterous, "Fuck you!". However, regardless of my silly assumptions and large ambition, I have [slowly] been squeezing in things I WANT to do.
For instance: I finished reading "Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe" vol. 1. Basically, Stan Lee wrote a bunch of stories (mainly the origins) with the title DC characters. As much as this is a fanboys wet dream, it amounts to little more than a campy book with a few laughs in it. The art was good, but story wise, it was really what you'd expect from Stan Lee (who's fucking crazy). He really 'marveled' up the characters making them much more frilly and always attacked by radiation and what not... The dialogue for the most part is really lame, and Stan's editorial notes were the worst attempt at humor I've seen since C3po in the prequel trilogy... And yet, despite the fact that they are horribly campy and undeniably lame, I'm still gonna pick up the other two volumes... Here is where I hang my head in shame.
I also finished Shaman King vol. 1 (that's right!). I really liked that series when I was younger, and when I say the first book at Half Price, I had to pick it up. I've never read the series straight through in it's entirety, so I gave myself a push to start (which I've been saying I'd do for some time now). The only down side is that there's 25 volumes... and I'm not too into manga [anymore]. I likely will end up getting the rest of the series... just don't judge me...
I'm almost done reading InterWorld, which has been entertaining thus far, even though it is a book meant for children (Gaiman still uses quite a powerful sense of writing though... He's a literary genius). Nevertheless, it goes by relatively quickly because I am not its target audience...
I still need to finish reading that pesky Resident Evil book series... I've been in the middle of the last book for months now... I just have to power read through the damn thing and get it out of the way.
The next books on my docket? The Absolute Sandman vol. 1 (I'm already half done with it), The Ultimates omnibus (it's a 900 page graphic novel... I fear for myself), and likely either finishing the Chronicles of Narnia series (I think I've only read half of the books, but have owned them all for years) or start the Lord of The Rings series (also have owned for years and never read).
It's pretty crazy... I've never been one for reading...
I also have finally set some plans for myself to FINALLY scan all of my art. Complete works, doodles, sketches... anything I find appealing to the eye (and some I don't) will be scanned and posted online. Expect updates on that soon peoples!!!
And the main thing holding me back from finishing all of this stuff now is school work (and those silly needs to want to eat and sleep)... Work (the one I get paid for) isn't all that bad because I only work on the weekends now. It's slow and I can bring homework to finish there. But despite all of my whining and bitching, school has been going pretty smoothly this semester. I'm actually doing assigned reading, writing notes, staying awake, and minding due dates and schedules. I've still got this paranoid feeling looming over me that there's a crucial piece I'm missing and one day I'm gonna show up to a class that I am completely lost/screwed/behind in... but that has yet to happen. Some courses... I'm actually ahead...

A New Level Of Fail...
Wow... I forgot my art portfolio at home... I have art today... WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! So, needless to say I'm skipping my art class (which starts in 15 minutes) and spending the next 3 free hours working on my English paper... Wow... Fuck my life! If I wasn't going to class today, why did I wake up at 6 and truck my ass down here? Why God, why???

Exhaustion
Okay, this morning I got up at 6:00. Now, last night I had wanted to get to bed a lot earlier than normal because I haven't been getting as much sleep as I should... but I didn't. First, I had problems with Heroes. All I wanted to do was watch it, but my tv kept acting gay and blitzing out every time anyone was going to utter any sort of important dialogue. It got so bad that Andrew and I just said to Hell with it, we'll watch it online. Then I was having problems with my internet. After that subsided I quick finished up the stuffs I was doing online, then moved on to my art homework. I even tried to hurry that up, but I still didn't finish till quarter after 11.
So I got to bed probably closer to 11:30, and the sleep I did get wasn't that great. So I got up, got dressed, ate, ate some more, packed my shit than laid back down for a minute... By the time I got up, I somehow turned all scatter-brained... So it took me like three times to finally get going. I got outside and 'hit it' like the kid from My Bloody Valentine 3D! I still didn't make it to the stop in time, but I was able to flag the bus down and hop on. Art was art. This time it was a naked guy, but I'm okay with that, no homo, because I see a lot of dick at work... a lot of dick...next was art history, which I might add, I was fully awake for. Why? You guessed it, I brought myself an energy drink (I actually drank most of it in art because I felt more than slightly dead...). Today's was a no carb, no sugar Rock Star. Honestly, that was one of the best energy drinks I've ever had. It tasted like those really beastie blue-berry hard candys. Mmmmmmm mmmmmmmm!!! Now it was time for lunch where I mapped out my homework schedule for the next few days. Then I ate my lunch. I almost missed my math class because for some reason I thought it started at 2:30, when in reality, it started at 2. Somehow, as if by divine intervention, I remembered it wasn't at 2:30, it was at 2, at 1:50. So I got to class. My TA talked about getting hammered, then drinking the next morning, you know, the usual.
I got home around 4, which I'm used to. Putzed around for close to ten minutes, grabbed my supper, got dressed, then went to work. The first hour or so of work was easy-squeezy. You know, nothing wrong, no body yelling at me... and popcorn... But then, it all went to shit. Hundreds of people just pouring through the door (maybe not hundreds...). There was a god damn line to get scanned in at the front. For a while, we had NO towels. I mean NONE! Sure, we've run low, even run out of the small ones in the wellness center... but NONE!!! This was mainly due to the fact that my boss, who was supposed to have worked earlier today. Instead of working though, he had a meeting to go to. So he left Nick all by himself. Now, without trying to cause too much controversy, Nick has down-syndrome. He should not be left alone... So work was a constant pain in my ass, slowly sucking the life out of me. I actually broke a sweat... A full fledged sweat (side-note: I don't tend to sweat)...That ain't right... So now, as I verge on the 16th hour of my day, I am no longer tired, I am beyond a shadow of a doubt: exhausted. Now, we talked about this in English (the working student), so I know others have to deal with this sort of shit, and I acknowledge that. I'm not trying to "overly" complain, and try to draw out all of my melodrama... but c'mon... I've got to get some credit here...
Well, at least I know I'll sleep well tonight.

Today Is Tuesday... No Seriously, It's Tuesday
Yeah, today has been one of those days that just drags on... and on... and on (for good measure). No. For serious. I woke up this morning at 6 (it's about quarter to 1 now). I ate breakfast, packed the rest of my stuff, couldn't find an empty bottle, and then sat down for a minute in shame that the sun hadn't even come up yet... WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?! Sorry. So about 6:40, I took off and hit up the bus stop. The bus wouldn't be there until about 6:56, but I wanted to make sure I'd cathch it. So, I waited for a few more minutes before hoping on my MCTS chariot and being whisked away to the far off land of the east side (where it is hard core and people get killed everyday!!!). So, I got to campus a little early (better than a little late), and then trekked to my first class of the day: Art. So far, this class seems like it will be better than last years, but it also seems like I'll actually have to do shit (c'mon now...). That class seemed absurdly long because last year, I got to leave about 15 minutes early to cathc the last bus, but I got through it nonetheless. Next, my Art History class, which starts 15 minutes after Art. Basically, I have to get my ass across campus with enough time to spare to peg one of the seats in the back where there's more room for my portfolio (It's a lecture hall). My head did dip down once or twice during it, but I got through it. I also got through it after finding out I need a book (which I already bought) that all the needed chapters are supplied online... WHY should I spend $100 dollars on something you're giving me? Call me crazy (because I am), but why should I do that?!?! Aaaaah! After Art History, I've got my only break of the day. I get out of class at about noon (11:30 for today), and my math class doesn't start till 2. It's a nice break for lunch and whatever work I need to get done (like my blog ^_^). Oh, and guess what happened to me at lunch? I realized that I had not finished making my PB & J... So, I just had two pieces of bread in a bag. Damn. Now I'm really hungry and I've still got to show up to another class. Plus, after my math class, I've got to catch a bus, get back to town, grab something to eat, and drag myself into work. Yeah...
And now, I near the end of my blog, and I'm watching sxe phil videos... from 2007 on up... There's 14 pages of them. Kay, I'm gonna leave now... Umm... Bye...
