Hooray For Me!

In a time where I've been feeling lost and a little out of it, I've still managed to keep on myself about things I need to get done. For example: I finished The Ultimates 1 & 2 today, I finished my architecture model, I'm almost done with my Urban Planning essay (due Thursday next week), all I need left to do is study Psych (test Monday), I need to make a digital model of my physical model (also due Thursday), and a plan and section plan of my model. Easily accomplished... I hope. Either way, I'm pretty psyched for finishing things today, as well as having somewhat of a plan for the other things I need to finish.

Plus, I got some Tales done Wed. night with the guys, and we're hopefully doing some more Sat. night once I'm done with work (ugh, I've got twenty hours of work this weekend...).

One more thing I'll press on before I go (>.< style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" border="0" alt="" src="http://fc03.deviantart.com/fs48/f/2009/227/3/7/Life_Starts_Now_Album_Cover_by_psychopath94.jpg">

Food, Friends, and Books

Hrm. Here we are, back again. Okay, let’s just jump right into recent topics.

First, I’ve been eating quite hardy as of late. Last night I went out to a German all you can eat fish and chicken. That was good, but the used some hip tricks to get us to eat less. They had servers (most being quite attractive). Now, psychologically, men (who are much more known for packing food away) typically feel the need to be more chauvinistic around women (especially those who are hot). Sooooooooooooooo, men will likely tend to order less food, if there is a woman bringing it out for them, because they don’t want to seem fat and . Regardless, I ate 2 pieces of fish, 4 pieces of chicken, and a baked potato (which in hindsight wasn’t a good idea. Baked potatoes are very filling. I should’ve just opted for the potato pancake…). That was good. And the waitresses were hot.

The night before that was also filled with big meals. I ate pretty well in the morning because I was just around the house, but the real meal came after work at Denny’s. Karleisa, Kaitlyn, Kiwi (Teeheehee! KKK!), Maddie, and Katie all showed up here at work to get me. I showed them around (very minutely) before finishing up work and leaving. We then all headed over to Denny’s to eat. Pat was already there, and Collin came a few minutes later. We took a while to order (Kiwi, bought us a sampler J ). I ended up getting the chicken strips with fries and onion rings. I thought this was a good choice, because everyone else was getting breakfast… Chances were SOMEBODY wasn’t gonna finish… I ate my meal, then got pancakes from Karleisa, and I tried a bite ok Kiwi’s ham… He was right… their ham ain’t that great…

So, I’m a little fatty fat fat pig…

Other than that… things have been odd as of late… It’s like all of my friend relationships have changed. Those I used to see all the time are now few and far between, with little protest from me. And those I don’t tend to want to see… I’m seeing a lot, and again, with little protest from me… It’s weird. It’s like the whole friendship dynamic has changed, and no one seems to care. And if someone were to have told me things like this would happen a year ago… there was no fucking way I’d believe it, and now we all seem to busy and worn out to give a shit about it… I tell you it sucks!

I guess that can be one of the reasons my mind has been so… flippy-floppy… I really don’t have much of a grasp on my emotions towards people anymore. It’s not like I’ve got these raging bipolar feeling towards people, it’s more of a large animosity. I don’t know how I feel about others anymore…I need to get back to a sense of balance, and not this weeble wobbly shit with people that don’t see anything wrong with that… I need to get back to stability.
One a much much different note, I got some new goodies from one of my favorite places ever: Half Price Books. Wait. Side note. I, a big kid, am usually quite good with children (please, no pedophile jokes). However, walking with Maddie’s brother Evan in Half Price Books was my own personal Hell. Not only did he want to play/read every game/book… He also wanted to own them. All I wanted to do was geek out, but I had to stay by him… To me, it was painful… But I did manage to leave there with 3 purchases: “Long Hard Road out of Hell” by Marilyn Manson, “Daredevil: Guardian Devil” Written by Kevin Smith, The Clerks Animated Series, and “Interworld” by Neil Gaiman (there was another writer involved, but who cares). Word.
I think I’m just gonna end here because I really don’t have much else to say, and anything more would just be me typing in circles trying to not only figure out just what’s going through my brain, but also to escape the boredom at work, where, I have been left all alone with all of the responsibility. Great… Here’s to nobody dying on my watch!

Oh Good Lord!

Fucking Blog. Why, why, why, why, why, why, why?!?!?!?!?

Okay, so Jake's Birthday was interesting. First off, I told work that I would be, without a doubt, about an hour late. So instead of showing up at 4, I would show up at 5. Simple enough. However, at 4:40 Jake was not even there... His party 'started' at 3. And he wasn't there at 4:40... So I called in saying, "Yeah... about that birthday boy... He's not here."... So they basically just told me to forget work and to stay and have fun. SWEET! So I got to spend more time at Jake's party... Jake finally got there, we ate, hung out, went by the beach, I took my shirt off, I made a lot of dirty comments towards Catherine, and had a generally good time. After it got dark, and we had our cake, we sat around for a bit before we relocated to Kiwi's, then quickly moved on over to Drew's "apartment" on the east-side. Hoooooray, Jake is 20!

Other shit going on... I don't even know, you know? There's all this BULLSHIT going on right now in my life. Plus, everybody else's life seems either screwed up, or busy as fuck. More often than not, both. So things are really just... hectic...

Sun. Music... And Beer. Only In Wisconsin

So, now that the up north trip is a thing of the past, and we move ourselves onto the next big chapter of the Summer. Summerfest. Now, I've lived in Wisconsin my whole life, so It's never really clicked with me (at least not fully), But Summerfest is the WORLD's largest music festival. Let me repeat that. The WORLD's largest music festival. Right here in my own backyard! That's pretty frickin' cool... So, my first step at having a fun time at Summerfest: Pick out some totally awesome bands to see, and make sure I get off work accordingly. Now, getting off work is never the easiest thing for me (mainly because my coworkers are douches... but in all seriousness, they sub for me all the time, it's just that they hardly can when I really need them to). But I got off for the entire up north trip, and all but one day for Summerfest (I'm gonna miss Cage the Elephant and The Airborne Toxic Event. Saaaaaaaaaaaad Faaaaaaaaace!) Okay. Thursday. Summerfest opening night. 10 hours waiting. Micheal Jackson died. So did Farrah Fawcett. And Then. Rise Against (with a side of Rancid). Now, I've seen Rise Against perform live before (two years ago at Summerfest) and actually got to meet them before the show. I loved them live the first time. It was my very first concert ever, and I had such an amazing time jumping around screaming my head off and just fogetting myself for a night. Thursday's show however was a whole new ballgame. You could tell from the second Rancid stepped onto the stage. I personally am not all that big a fan of Rancid, but I figured a nice punk rock show would just be fun. I would have had a lot of fun too, had it not been for a few select, aptly nicnamed, people. First person in the "unfavorable" crowd: Crazy White Bitch. Crazy White Bitch sounded like a howler monkey. She was crazy. She had a fun time bouncing everywhich fucking way hitting everyone, just screaming (and I mean screaming) all of the lyrics. Crazy White Bitch also had a friend: Redneck Addicted To Ritalin. Redneck Addicted To Ritalin didn't have as much of an screamo thing going on, but he too was annoying and yelling all the words. He was also a lot more violent. Both of them were bumping into people, but he was throwing elbows and fists, and threatened to start numerous fights. I took at least three, almost full on full punches from him, but couldn't really 'retaliate' without getting myself kicked out. So I rolled with the punches. I also got some pink lemonade splashed on me when a dude [who we actually liked, and didn't mind him stnading with us in the crowd] jumped down of the bench he was standing on to push Redneck Addicted To Ritalin off of his girlfriend. The next group of annoying people: The Beached Whales. Wow. These 'ladies' defied every law of physics to squeeze themselves all the way up to the front last minute. Okay, Beached Whale #1. She was dumb. Well, all of them were dumb, but this one took the cake. As she told us many, many times, she was 26, an we weren't. We were all kids, and she was 26. She was 26, and we were just children. We are 12 or something, aaaaaaaaaand she was 26. She is a fan of Rancid, because she's 26, and deserves to be there more because of this. Beached Whale #1 also was one of the Beached Whale clan that said Rise Against was a pussy band (lol). Beached Whale #2 was the only Beached Whale that stayed for Rise Against. She, although not AS old as Beached Whale #1, was still older and more mature than everyone else and deserved to be there more... Somehow... Apperently, this particular Beached Whale was elbowing Kiwi in the dick for all of Rancid's set. So, in an act of peaceful protest, Kiwi was throwin' his knees into her back for all of Rise Against's set... Oh, sweet vengence! I also took vengence on Beached Whale #2 when I finally dislodged her from front row and sent her flopping about behind us. The other 2 Beached Whales didn't do much personally wrong and/or annoying, but were still fat and poorly dressed for their figures. As well as dumb as stumps. They also made many audible whale sounds... The sadest part too was watching the change from when they first pushed through, to when they realised the were out of the water and started thrashing about... And, of course, the Rise Against show was AMAZING! This was by far my greatest concert ever (granted I can still count how many shows I've seen with only my fingers). I was front row, dead center. They played all the hits (Songs off of their new cd, popular songs, FAN favorites) plus a few songs that you knew threw the audience off, because only the true fans would even know them (like stuff off of their first cd etc.). The energy was immense, and everything was just spot on. PLUS, as if the show itself wasn't awesome, we stuck around for free stuff thrown off the stage (sad to say, I came out empty handed. Emily however got a pick). However, we still stuck around because the band was standing by there bus not far from where we were. And Tim came out to greet us, topless no less. So I gave him a hug and had him sign my ticket. So... that was pretty AWESOME!!! Then we took the shuttle home and walked back to my house. Emily got her car and left, whereas I went inside and tried going to bed. I ended up tossing and turning for almost 3 hours. It turns out Redneck Addicted To Ritalin hit my back harder than I thought, because I could just not get comfortable with the pain. So I took some ibuprofen, and that knocked me out right quick.
The next morning, I had a hard time getting up, but I finally forced myself to get up and get in the shower. I then ate, got my stuff for my free enterance, and Andrew and I left for Summerfest [again] (although he didn't go to RA... I'm pretty sure this is the first time I'd ever waited entire days for 2 shows back to back. So Andrew and I held the places and Kiwi should up around 4 after he got off of work. Both Kiwi and I decided to splurge on food the second night. I got myself a chicken strip basket with fries and he got a burrito. My chicken strips were pretty ballin'. Maybe not the best I'd ever had, but they had Sweet Baby Ray's barbeque sauce and I'd been cravin' some chicken strips for a few weeks now. Kiwi however, wasn't all too satisfied with his burrito. First off, the thing was $7, when in reality, it was probably a $4 burrito. But hey, it's Summerfest, you should be expecting to pay that much for food. However, he also added guacamole to it, which ran him an extra $2. So that was really gay, and cost him damn near $10 for a fucking burrito... I felt kinda bad though because I had suggested it to him in the first place... It also didn't help that they did a shitty job making it. So Anyways, we continued waiting, sitting through some truly awful bands. The only bright spot in the music during the day, was the lead singer of one of the crappy cover bands... She was hot. No. REALLY HOT. My God. She was wearing this super tight black shirt with no bra so you could TOTALLY see her nipples, plus she had on a pair of those tight as shit volleyball spandex shorts... SPLOOG! She was hot. And she signed my chest. So, finally. It was time for The Offspring. This too, was also a really good show. The lighting was pretty cool (bands usually don't bring their whole lighting set-up to Summerfest, but the had their whole backlight thing set-up. It was pretty awesome). They had a nice stage presence. And they even brought out a piano (piano = teh pwnzr). However, this show, like them all, had it's douches. First off, right before the show, a bunch of people shoved their way up to the front. The first group, we really didn't mind that much. A few chicks who were kind, and grateful, as well as pretty cute. So they're in, but then these dumbfucks brought themselves up there (note, we let the chicks in willingly, these guys pushed and shoved where there was no room). Two out of the three guys were okay. They were just fans there for an awesome show. The third guy was a fuckinf dick! He was totally drunk and wouldn't stop fucking shouting and saying he was gonna mosh. Okay, Summerfest steges have metal bleachers... no one's gonna be moshing moron... And of course he weaseled his way to the very front, and I tried my best not to crush a few little kids to death. But the music was good, and they played a lot of their strongest tunes. Plus, and this is one of the coolest things in my opinion, they kicked off the show with the song "Stuff is Messed Up" because this was a stop on their Shit is Fucked Up Tour. AWESOME! Shit truly is fucked up... Plus they had a really weird intermission that involved a giant inflatable army man, and a few techs with hidden talents (dancing, juggling, pogo, blowing bubbles...). So yeah, that was a fun time. After the show we met up with Maddie and the Pfieffers. They too went to The Offspring, but came at like 9, so where far, far to the outside (whereas we were front row bitches!!!). So we all rode the shuttle bus back home, and Maddie was gracious enough to give us a ride from the stop, back home. However, I was smart when I got home. The first thing I did was pop an ibuprofen. I slept like a baby. Well, I slept like a baby until I had to wake up 5 hours later. I had some waffles for breakfast, then trucked my shit on into work... Needless to say, 2 days of sitting out in the sun all day, and rocking all night doesn't make for a good morning. So I've been pretty dead here at work all day, but luckily it's been dead here too. The first five hours weren't bad. I took my break, walked to Pick N' Save and got myself a boss. And now my second four hours of this shift are being little bitches and have me alone and dealing with stupid people... God, I just wanna go home, take a shower (yeah, about that... I was covered in sweat (as I always am after a good concert (half of which isn't mine though)) went to bed, then came here. I just slapped on some deodorant this morning. So I'm pretty disgusting right now...) and get some real sleep...

They Just Keep Swimming...

Hello again, and welcome to today's edition of Life: Shit Happens. In today's blog, you will be let into the secret goings ons of my job. So, here goes.

First, I woke up this morning. At 8 o'clock!... 8 o'clock! Granted, I fell back asleep until closer to 8:45, but 8 o'clock! So I finally got up, and made myself a bolw of ceral and then was off to work. It's not like I had to work that early... at least not yet... No, today's big news was a staff meeting. Now, this particular staff meeting, is again, an important one. The past few have been improtant almost solely because of talks of people getting laid off. Now, They've been talking about cutting people since before the new year, so I was pretty set on the fact that we were all staying, but there was the occasional scare. Plus, what with my position transfer and all, I had a lot of unanswered questions. So, needless to say, this was an important one. However, there were a lot of holes... I got a few well needed insites into the move, but there was so much stuff that still has yet to be determined. And we move in 8 days! That meeting was about an hour long (which I did get paid for), and then I probably stuck around for another 20 minutes or so talking to the people who were actually working. And, while I was still there, the floor manager discovered that there was a huge discrepensy in the scheadule... So who did they ask to come in? Me. My hors for the day went from 2-5, to 12-5. AND, because there was still no one scheaduled hours later. So, who did they ask to fill this gap? Me. Now my brand new 12-5, turned into 12-8. Thus, I work now 12-8 both Saturday, and Sunday. The only bright spot, is in the time after I left the meeting, to starting at 12, I went and got a BOSS (again, 5$... W00T!!!). So, now here I am. Greeting. I shouldn't complain, it is an easy job. All you have to do is sit, smile, and scan peoples cards. However, it is a very dull job. Plus you really get to talk to some truly stupid people. Another down side to greeter is the fact that there's a swim meet. True, I am not part of the swim meet, and I'm really not working at keeping it running, but I do have to put up with swimmer douches all day. First, I have to try and differentiate, which people coming into the building want to use our facilities, or are here for the swim meet. Which isn't bad, I just do a shitty job of screening people, and they naturally end up where they need to go. However, there are still swimmers around. Swimmers who are not in the water. And swimmers who are not in the water are douches that just won't shut the fuck up... And somehow they all think they're changing the world by swimming gooder. God, they're dumb as FUCK!!! Grrr, but enough about that, if I start, it won't stop (and for anyone who has ever read my blog ever, you have likely witnessed me p.m.s. about swim meets). Blarg. It's gonna be a long weekend. And, still no sign of anybody taking any of my shifts...

Ugh! It's Snowing Again!!!

That's right folks. After two straight days of dreary rain, we now have more snow! Gotta love Wisconsin. Probably the most amusing part of it all would be when my manager (Theresa), yelled out, "Why do we live here???". Yeah. I personally like the snow... in winter... I can't take anymore snow and cold weather. It's too late in the season! I've got filming projects I need done! (Stay tuned for those!) So yeah, the weather has got me pretty bummed out. Also, the knowledge of having work tonight, tomorrow, Tuesday (off Wed. and Thurs. (Thank God)) and Friday, has already told me that I will be dead by next weekend.

For now though, I'm still moving. Plans for Friday night got fucked up (which angered me greatly), and then yesterday was almost solely devoted to homework (Which btw, I still haven't finished). I've still got art and a little bit of English to do. I did however listen to like 4 new [to me] cds last night.
1. "All Hope is Gone"- Slipknot
2. "Like Blood Like Honey"- Holly Brook
3. "When the World Comes Down"- All American Rejects
4. "The Airborne Toxic Event"- The Airborne Toxic Event
5. "Platypus"- The Flobots
All were good, just in very, very different ways. "All Hope is Gone" was exactly what I needed it to be. Slipknot delivered a perfect sequel to Vol. 3. No more of their mindless raging metal with no heart. Although this album was clearly 'harder' than their last, they could still slow it down with melodic anthems such as "Snuff" (one of my now favorite songs ever made ever...). I also was pleasantly surprised when I sound techno-like sounds peeking up here and there. "Like Blood Like Honey" is Holly Brook's first studio album and displays high skill for a freshman release. For those of you who don't know who the Hell this is, she was the one singing back-up vocals in Fort Minor's "Where'd you go". Although, she herself brings no new genre to the forefront, but she employs enough craft in what she does do to give off a strong sound. Plus. it probably doesn't hurt that she's a pianist and I have a sexual/love attraction to pianos. Oh, and she's hot. Soooooooo, check that out and support the 'unknowns'. Next we've got All-American's newest. Now, I've never listened to their first cd, so I've really got nothing to compare it to (except for their WAY overplayed singles from their previous cd). You know, i liked it more than I thought i would. They mixed a lot of different sounds in various ways through out. However, they still seemed to stay in their comfort zone, and never stretched TOO far out the box. I also must saw their vocalist bothers me after extended listening... but I was fine for one straight run through. Next up on my list is a new band The Airborne Toxic event and their self-titled. They're a pretty fun band (especially when you watch their videos and their riding in things like boats and vans singing). They send off a very slow alternative sound reminiscent of bands such as Snow Patrol. Although they never push the overall feel of their music too much, they do experiment with a lot of different instruments. I also find the band themselves pretty funny: 1 smaller clearly indie singer, one 'individual' looking chick, and Asian guy, and a guy with ballin' facial hair, and another guy... lol. And for the last (but not least) cd on my little list here: "Platypus" by The Flobots. It's their first release before the well known "Fight With Tools". There's not that many tracks (only 7 I believe), but it's the Flobots... C'mon...C'mon.

And know I must bid you all farewell for alas, work is over, and I can truck my ass through slush and snow home. Where I will inevitably try and finish more homework.

Just Shorts

So today at work, a woman I've never seen before said to me, "I love your hair". Hooray for warm fuzzy feelings!

And When The Name Tag Went Through-

So, in the spirit of a lazy as shit college student, I will do the least amount of work possible, and just explain (in great detail) what happened to me Sunday night...
Align Left

It all started when Jacob showed up at work. I worked from 12:30 to 8:30... He probably showed up at about 4 or so... (That's a really non-factual estimate. This isn't the first time Jake has shown up at work to keep me busy, but this was certainly the earliest time he'd ever shown up. So he and I talked whenever it was convenient for me (he also followed me around for a bit, so he knows how silly the lock-out situation really is). But anywho, the night was rolling along like any other Sunday... Which basically means, by the 5th or 6th hour, I was going crazy and wanted to go home. But, nonetheless, I pushed through it all and persevered. Jake and I talked about all sorts of random stuff while I kept telling him to censor his language because he can't swear at my job (at least, not by members...). That's one of the many reasons why Jake kept reminding me: "I could never do your job", to which I would remind him- $7.50 an hour, and about an average 20 hours a week... I like money, and this works out well for me. He can kiss my ass... So anyways, everything was going fine up until about 7-ish. That's when this little boy came out into the hall and took a seat. He was quiet at first, but that didn't last long... He then got up and stood next to our sample locker we have in the hallway. He was there for a few seconds putzing around with it. I didn't think much of it because it was already locked... So then he asks me "how do you work this", to which I replied, "You punch in four numbers..." blah, blah, blah, ect. ect. After giving this same spiel about fifteen hundred times, I don't feel like typing it now. So anyways, then he asks why it's locked. I tell him. And he asks if I can open it. I say no, but my manager can. He asks why. I tell him. Then he asks if I can open it... So this conversation went around and around for a good five minutes or so before Jake decided to chime in with a "I could never do your job", and a "at my job, we can say whatever we want", to which I replied "At least I've got a name tag!" and subsequently threw my name tag at him (See picture).

(Aforementioned Name Tag)

So I turn back around as the kid continues to ask his questions... After about five more of his terrible questions (who ever said there's no such thing as a bad question clearly hasn't worked with the general public) Jake says my name. So I turn around and see that Jacob is trying to toss me my name tag back. No throwing it with any sort of force, just a nice toss... So I catch it... And then realize that somehow the pin had come undone in the air and stabbed into my thumb! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! So I yank it out Steve Irwin style and apply pressure on it with my other hand. My expression was a mixture of pain, amazement, and humor. I was dancing around for a second or two before I finally lifted up my hand to show him my now bleeding puncture wound. I then ran into the nearby kitchen (Don't ask) to wash it. For such small holes, the blood was flowing like STDs out of a prostitute! I let my hand just sit under the water, still laughing mind you. How the Hell did that even happen?!?!? And then, the little kid starts getting curious, so he rushes over "What happened?!?!", luckily, Jake intercepted him and told him to stay away. And I was still laughing. God, how could this happen??? So then, the little boy, did just one more thing to make the story even better. He picks up my name tag and says, "hey, there's still blood on this!". You don't touch that!!! I screamed for him to put it down. It was a bloody name tag for God sake! So I finally turned the water off. The blood was still coming out (not as bad though), so I grabbed a towel and wrapped my hand in it. Coincidentally, my manager just happened to be walking by at that moment, so I looked straight into her eyes and said, "I had a little accident". To which she replied with the most dead pan face I've ever seen, "Are you serious?". I said yes and replayed all of the events for her. She told me to stop with my "shenanigans" and said she'd watch my desk as I went to get some band-aids. But... the story's not quite done yet. As I got to the other desk to get me some band-aids, I hear the walkie-talkie. Lock out. So I pick it up fearing the worst... Yep. It was for me. I had to go into the locker room and open up someone's locker. Meanwhile, my hand is wrapped in a towel like a fucking burn victim. I tried to keep it hidden, but it's hard not to notice when someone's hand is wrapped in what used to be a white towel, and is now a blood stained rag. Luck for me, the guy chose to just let it slide, and didn't ask me about it (phew!). Yep... That was my Sunday night. I got stabbed by a vindictive bastard of a name tag. Shit happens (see title).

And for your viewing pleasure, I've thought to add pictures! (note: it's now Thursday, this happened Sunday, so it's a little harder to see now. But, not to worry, I've added a very descriptive diagram along with the original picture)

I'm on a Boat!

Never thought I'd be on a boat! It's a big blue watery road!

Ah... yes yes... So, I listened to Kiwi's and Steve's copy of Incredibad (The new cd put out by The Lonely Islands(If you don't know, you're retarded, and should just go here)). I must say, there are multiple songs on that cd that are INFECTIOUS!!! Yeah, sure, about half of the songs everybody has heard already on SNL Digital shorts, but they're still awesome! So far, my favorite songs (minus the digital short songs) Would have to be: "Like a Boss", "Boombox", and "I'm on a boat"(see lyrics above). Yeah.

Anyways, it hit me this morning (more on that latter) that I never posted yesterday... I had intended to post form the laptop... but I guess I just... forgot... Crazy right? I remembered I had something specific to say, but now I can't remember it (I've got a terrible memory. I mean, I often forgot to write myself reminders... It's that bad). So, yesterday was pretty full, and by full I mean, I never really got to lay back for too long. First, I woke up at 6, got ready ect., left, started class at 8. I was in art until 11. That's when art history started. (Oh my God! I remembered what I was gonna say!!!) I stayed awake in art history!!! Why? Because I brought an energy drink (kinda like last semester... Yay!!! Living off of artificial means!!!) Today's drink was a Rock star, which was pretty good, it tasted bubble-gummy. But the best thing was, it worked. I mean, it kept me awake ALL morning. So after art history, I had to walk back across campus to my art history discussion. Discussion was REALLY easy, but I am hard core getting sick of art... I mean, my arch drawing class, my arch theory class, my art class, my art history class, and my art history discussion... all of them are talking about perspective. ALL of them, and I first learned the mathematically side of perspective maybe... freshman year of High School... and every consecutive year since. But I got through it all, got an hour break for lunch before my last class of the day (sort of). Math was just another class... We got let out a little early again, so I wasted a few minutes online before catching the bus back home. I was there for about an hour before I had to take myself back outside, and headed to work. Now, I didn't have to work last night, but I went because we had a training seminar. It started at 5, and went until 7, so I thought they would supply us with something to eat... but they didn't (which was homo!!!). The stuff we were taught was really easy, despite our system being the stupidest nonuser-friendly p.o.s. ever! The end got pretty funny... Like when our 'teacher' asked if we had any questions and Debra said "No, I'm just trying to get the Hell out of here and go home!"... that was funny (picture Debra as one of those stereotypical black women at church). We finally got out, I took some popcorn and a Gatorade from downstairs, then went home. I ate, helped a little around the house, took a shower, then pissed away time on the lollernets till 12. I hadn't planned on staying up that late... I was actually all ready to go to bed at 11...

And, that's probably the reason that this morning happened. I woke up at 6:30 like I was supposed to... but I turned off my alarm and went back to sleep... My mom woke me up an hour later when she woke up for work. I quick had to get up and get ready to catch the next bus. I still got onto campus on time though (I allot myself extra time in the mornings for just such an occasion). I slept in my Archy theory class anyways, which comes as no surprise to me. That class ended and I went on over to the union, where I've actually got some stuff done.
1. I watched the newest Arby n' the Chief
2. I watched the last Heroes episode
3. I talked to Kiwi
4. I saw Beau
5. Listened to the censored "I'm on a Boat" (stay away! The reall one is better... despite the gunshots)

Yep... now I'm pretty hungry, so I think I'll go eat. After that I've got one more class (which I already know we'll be doing some shit in...), then I'm on the bus home! K. Bai.

And So Another Week Begins

Ah... sigh... It's Monday. I stayed up a little longer than I wanted to last night (not drastically though). I usually try to get to bed around 11 (while I'm in school), and last night, it was probably closer to 12. And to be honest, if anybody's got a problem with me think 11 is a perfectly legitimate bedtime, you can blow me! I like to sleep, why would you have a fucking problem with that? Who the fuck cares that I'm a college student, the way I see it, most college students stay up as late as they do for 2 reasons: 1.) Procrastination. We push shit off too far, and end up fucked at the last minute with a boat load of work to do (Yes I've been there. Intro to Archy last semester... yeah). and 2.) People stay up late because they want to wake up the next morning extremely tired. Now they can bitch about to garner sympathy from those surrounding them. True, we all like to have people on our sides of things, and to make people realize that our lives are no walk in the park... but whose is? Why should you get all the attention? Greedy little bastards... But anyways. This morning I woke a little while before my alarm went off, and I was really awake... like wide awake... it was crazy. So, I just sat there and figured I would wait for the alarm... And then I fell back asleep... I woke up a little later, turned off the alarm, and still just sat around. I finally got up at 6:50, which I was supposed to get up at 6:30... Then I went downstairs, ate and went back upstairs to pack my shit. I got my backpack, tried finding stuff to take with me today and finally made my way back downstairs... Long story short, I went up and down those stairs about 4 more times... I finally got out my door (I couldn't find my hat! Saaaaaaad face). I hauled ass of to the bus stop and just caught it. I got to school (fuck my life) and remembered I had to take a quiz online (I got a 6/10... good enough). I chatted with Beau for a bit, wasted some time on the internet, then went to class. My first class of the day is Architecture theory. I like the class [sort of], but it can get quite dull. So, in order to combat this, I brought myself an energy drink. Todays was a venom (sale + coupon... W00T!). It was good. I mean, it sorta tasted like a Monster (which if you don't know, is Satan's piss... I think) but much more berry...er... I liked it, and it did keep me awake through out class. Now, this got me thinking. I'm no fan of monster. I mean, I can stomach the stuff if necesary, but I'm no fan by any means. But this stuff sorta tasted like it... and it kept me awake... what? Does this mean that Monster effectively does what it's supposed to? Hmmmmmm. So this got me thinking, for the integrity of my ongoing highly scientific list of energy drinks, how they taste, and how well they 'work'. So, wish me luck, because I will be purchasing and review Monster energy drinks in the coming weeks (if they're on sale... Hey! Fuck you guys! I save money!). Once I got out of class, I ate my lunch, drew for a little while, and handed in my architecture work. I'm a bit dissapointed at the quality of my work, but I'm hoping they take it [a little] easy on me because it is the first assigment of the semester. Yeah. Now, I'm writing my blog, which I'm fairly enjoying. I'm also (yet again) watching sXePhil's videos. Now, I know it sounds like I watch him alot, but in reality, he just has a shit ton of videos and I don't have a shit ton of time. My next class, which doesn't start until 3:30 (it's 12:30...), is English and I'm not all that excited about it. Why? well one because it's English, but two because I forgot to bring a pencil with me... Yeah, how am I supposed to write in an English class, with no pencil (see title)... And on top of that, I've got work tonight. I haven't had work work on a Monday since the Summer. Blarg. I only have about 4 hours of work tonight, which isn't bad at all, It's just the fact that I work for four days in a row. I don't like working a bunch of days in a row because it kills my scheadule. It's like I take a bus here, take a bus home, go to work, go home to sleep, wake up at 6, then do it all again. Sigh. I'll also be missing Heroes tonight, which I guess in a way I'm used to, and will just catch it online some time during the week (or if my internet buddy at home sticks around, I coule do it there ^.^). I guess that's about everything. I'm trying to think of shit to just cram in here because I'm bored... With nothing coming to mind I will bid thee farewell...

I Was Morally Oppesed To Doing Shit Today

Let's see. My math class last night was interesting... It seems like it'll be pretty easy if I pay attention (btw: Trigonometry). My instructor kinda sounds like the Hispanic version of Apocolyptica (They kinda talk like this). After class, I hit it, and ran to the bus stop. I knew that the next bus didn't come till 3:15 or so (I got out of class at 2:50), but I was hoping that a bus was late or something, and I could hop on that. However, no such luck. I had to wait till the next bus... which was late. So I didn't get on the bus till about 20 after. Which sucked, because, I had work... So I got home at about 4 (when I supposed to be at work), called in and said I'd be there at 4:30. I tried to quick eat, but I ended up taking half of my supper with me anyways. Work actually went pretty well, but I was still really tired by the end of it. Went home, got dressed, chatted with Andrew for a bit, then went to sleep.

Thus we get to today. I woke up this morning at about 4:08. I checked the clock (that's how I know the time it was!), then fell back asleep. So I woke up again, this time about 4:44... Dammit! So I went back to bed again until about quarter after 6, woke up, and waited for my alarm to go off so I could shut it off. It's crazy, though, my sleeping habits have never been like this... ever. I mean, during break, I kept having hard times falling asleep, and now I'm actually waking up on time and on my own... It's really fucking weird... But I got up, packed my stuff and got ready to leave. I was ready for at least 20 minutes before I had to leave, which led to me being really bored... I finally just got up and left. I was early for my bus, but a strange late/early bus came by, I shrugged "eh", and got on. Low and behold, this wasn't a real bus, or a real bus driver. Turns out he just wanted to rape me and steal my skin. So I kicked him in the throat and crashed his bus into the river. Okay, so that was all bullshit... but seriously... I got on campus and went to the Union lab (where I am now), and soon met Aubin. He and I were talking for a bit before he took a picture from the UWM home page into paint and added his own flair to it:
See?
Then, I introduced Aubin to Aron E., you may remember this silly jackass from earlier posts. Aubin laughed at him for a while (who can blame him), then I headed on off to class. I don't really want to admit it, because I do find it interesting and all... but architecture theory is a really boring class. I took about a 10 minute nap in there, class ended early, then I went on back to the Union (btw: Aubin wants to start telling people the 'union' is pronounced 'onion').

So, I listened to music, and started eating. It was really early, so I didn't want to eat all of my lunch, but I was oddly starving. As I was eating, I was writting the script to my highly anticipated "Cappy" film. I finished a scene when This morose mutha' fucka walks by me. So Steve sat down and we chatted for a bit. We both traded bits of our schedules, and he had to leave to grab something to eat before his class started at noon. So, I finished up my English homework, and headed to my computer lab. AAAHH I WANT MY LAPTOP! HURRY UP YOU DUMB UPS GUY!!!

So, while on the computer, I checked all my e-mails and such, looked to see if all of those chapters were really online for my art history class (they weren't... I think I'll just hold onto the book for now), and am listening to the entire "Appeal to Reason" cd by Rise Against off of youtube (retards who post songs with still screens and call them videos...). So far it's been really good (btw: both singles and their accompaning videos are amazing!!!). The only thing I could say even remotely negatively about it, is that Tim really doesn't scream at all... Oh well, you move on (mainly because I'm not one of these jerk-offs who feals the need for life to be put on hold while I bitch and bitch because things aren't going the exact right way for me). Yep. Now I'm probably going to go to the archy store and buy my supplies for my arch class on Fri. (I really don't want to buy another text book or any more expensive as shit supplies...). Mhmm... And then, at 3:30, I've got my english class. I just want to go home... I just want to go home, lay down, eat something, and chill out... I haven't felt like doing anytihng today. It's like when you know it's cold outside, but you're inside. That nice warm, comfortable, secure, safe, and mildly arousing feeling... I want that like right now!

Today Is Tuesday... No Seriously, It's Tuesday

Yeah, today has been one of those days that just drags on... and on... and on (for good measure). No. For serious. I woke up this morning at 6 (it's about quarter to 1 now). I ate breakfast, packed the rest of my stuff, couldn't find an empty bottle, and then sat down for a minute in shame that the sun hadn't even come up yet... WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?! Sorry. So about 6:40, I took off and hit up the bus stop. The bus wouldn't be there until about 6:56, but I wanted to make sure I'd cathch it. So, I waited for a few more minutes before hoping on my MCTS chariot and being whisked away to the far off land of the east side (where it is hard core and people get killed everyday!!!). So, I got to campus a little early (better than a little late), and then trekked to my first class of the day: Art. So far, this class seems like it will be better than last years, but it also seems like I'll actually have to do shit (c'mon now...). That class seemed absurdly long because last year, I got to leave about 15 minutes early to cathc the last bus, but I got through it nonetheless. Next, my Art History class, which starts 15 minutes after Art. Basically, I have to get my ass across campus with enough time to spare to peg one of the seats in the back where there's more room for my portfolio (It's a lecture hall). My head did dip down once or twice during it, but I got through it. I also got through it after finding out I need a book (which I already bought) that all the needed chapters are supplied online... WHY should I spend $100 dollars on something you're giving me? Call me crazy (because I am), but why should I do that?!?! Aaaaah! After Art History, I've got my only break of the day. I get out of class at about noon (11:30 for today), and my math class doesn't start till 2. It's a nice break for lunch and whatever work I need to get done (like my blog ^_^). Oh, and guess what happened to me at lunch? I realized that I had not finished making my PB & J... So, I just had two pieces of bread in a bag. Damn. Now I'm really hungry and I've still got to show up to another class. Plus, after my math class, I've got to catch a bus, get back to town, grab something to eat, and drag myself into work. Yeah...

And now, I near the end of my blog, and I'm watching sxe phil videos... from 2007 on up... There's 14 pages of them. Kay, I'm gonna leave now... Umm... Bye...

This Post Dun' Synch Up Right... pt. 2.0

So, in caring this weekends themes, I will explain what all transpired last night. It was pretty epic. First, I left work ( a little late. I decided to be nice and help my coworker... that and I wanted to eat some of the swim meets food). Smerz called me... twice, to tell me to go to Kiwi's (n00b), I already knew that jackass... So I got home and ate some spaghetti ( I knew that there'd be food at the party, but my mom made it and didn't want to piss her off). So then Andrew and I caught the bus and went to Kiwi's. We got there around 6:30 (I wanted to get there 5-6, so I was a tad bit late). Kiwi was outside grilling when we got there. He told us to go inside, so we obeyed, he had harnessed the power of fire, he has obviously reached a higher plain of existence, we shouldn't question his ultimate judgement. When I got inside Coop, Jake, Smerz, Steve, and Catherine were all there... Unfortunately Aron couldn't make it. Hannah Montana was on. Catherine was enjoying it (so was Steve), and she liked it even more when the Jonas Brothers guest stared (n00bs... the whole lot of them (p.s. they're all into performing acts of homosexual incest on each other)). So we made fun of her and the Jonas Brothers until Kiwi came inside and said that food was done. So we all entered the kitchen. There were hamburgers (with all the fixin's), baked beans, brats, baked beans, veggies, baked beans, chips, baked beans, a lot of [Democratic] blue kool-aid in Kiwi's slick punch bowl, and then his mom told us there were baked beans... There was also a pimp ass Obama-cake. It made me a little hot... So, after we got food, we popped in head of state (Movie about a historic black president ring a bell... it was an accurate and very funny prediction). After that, we sat around for a little while before we put in (and finished the rest of) Amityville Horror 4... which was hilarious! Oh Aron, didn't anyone tell you you shouldn't operate a chainsaw if your a dumbfuck? That movie was very entertaining, but Catherine kept complaining that we 'talked too much'... but we called her a fat ass, so we're even. Then we tore into that sweet ass Barack cake. Kiwi cut it with a cleaver. I almost felt bad eating it... but it was good, so I sort of compromised my morals a little (it was good!)... then we went outside to make a fire... don't know why... but we did. Kiwi got a bit of a scolding because he kept spraying lighter fluid in it (that was cool). We were only outside for awhile before we headed back in. From there we all sort of mellowed out and talked. Coop played some stuffs on the keyboard. Then we left around 12:30 because Coop had to catch the last bus home, so we all crammed into the van. I gave Coop my emergency last bus pass, I felt like a good person... Then I went home.

I slept for a long time. I woke up this morning around 11-ish and ate breakfast. Then I got up and starting moving. I watched The Fresh Prince and found my Financial aid check (W00T for school giving me almost $1,500 of tuition back!). Then, as I was getting ready to head to work, "Chicken Little" comes on... ... ... FUUUUCK! I've wanted to see that movie since it came out... but I it's one of those movies, you always remember you want to see it at the times your not renting movies... I did however finish reading Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was really interesting, with both the art style and psychological story. They did however take a lot of creative liberty, especially with the how Batman became Batman side story. So, then I started cutting myself just to bleed. I watched the blood escape my skin and drip the floor. Hopes, admiration and pain all encompassed in it's thick shade of crimson... I'm just kidding... In reality I just went to work... The swim meet is also today, so there's alot of little girls running around in swimsuits. It's a pedophiles dream, but a YMCA employee's nightmare... it was snowing a little while ago... but now it's kinda sunny out. Gee thanks Wisconsin... How about you make up your damn mind! And now I'm just going to sit here at work and try to get enough towels folded to not have anyone complain about me tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get some reading done too. Then after I leave, I is gonna go home, take a shower, do my art homework, and watch "March of the Penguis" (Gangsta'!)... Yep... my life is WAY cool...

Man my job is boring...

If you couldn't guess from the title, I'm typing this entry at work.

Not much happened to me today. I went to school, I fought to stay awake during my morning physics class. (For a majority of that class I look like a bobble-head. Head goes down, wake up, head goes down, wake up ect. ect.) I hope tomorrow will be a better school day for me. Despite the fact that I have *shiver runs through spin* my physics lab, there's gonna be free pizza for English Seminar students (W00T for free food!). I also have art which we're having these five minute little interviews with the instructor to see 'where we're at'... I'm praying this is just code-word for: We're actually going to do something in this class, we can't possible spend anymore time on pointless excersizes, I'm sorry, and I repent for my sins... Well, maybe not that last part, but as an art student for the past few years, a pretty good one if I do say so myself, I really want to do something productive.

So, enough about school. School is gay. On to Culvers! Culvers totally had $1 hamburgers for customer appreciation. I never eat at Culvers, but they appreciate me still!!! Win!

Now, on to details of work. Me and the other Chris made fun of a few of the members (see title). and I ate a bunch of the candy set out for members to take. I also read about a chapter of the book I'm assigned to read for the same class I created this blog in.

Just one more note before I call it quit and get back to 'working': How I Met Your Mother Season 3 came out today!!! It's even titled "The Legendary Season 3"! Win. Nuff said...

Still Moving After the Weekend

First, let me update you with what I was alluding to last Fri.. My girlfriend of the past year and a half and I decided it best if we put our relationship on hold. There was just somehitn about the now four hour distance between us. (I'm attending UWM, and she's now attending UW Eau Claire) True to form people have lived through much worse, and done whatever they could to make it survive, this complete change took us by complete suprise. (both the distance and this whiole 'college life') We'll of course still keep in touch and will talk more in depth about us when she comes back for the holidays. I'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out. I know it will all work out in the end. I at least have faith in that...

Besides that, my life is pretty slow. I had to work a majority of this weekend, which is the main reason I was unable to catch up with friends. Work was dull as always, weekends can be quiet slow. Nevertheles, I got paid for it, so I can't complain too much. I don't think I even did anything when I got home on Sat., but Sun. I got home, watched Clerks 2 and finished my art homework (due in about... half an hour. Yes! I'm actually ahead of my schoolwork!!!)

That's about all for now, until next time... (Who am I kidding? I'll get bored inbetween classes tomorrow and write another damn post...)
